Necromancer Label is reissuing rare titles from a handmade label by collectors for collectors, which was only available in very limited distribution, using officially acquired masters.

This is a collection of rare recordings of Paul Kossoff, the messenger of the Les Paul, whose soul-stirring fiery vibrato and passionate playing, even with few notes and no shredding, stirs the soul. The core of the collection is a live recording of Kossoff's band, Back Street Crawler, from March 3, 1976. The title indicates that this was 16 days before Kossoff's untimely death. The sound quality is not beginner-friendly due to it being an audience recording, but those familiar with such recordings will thoroughly enjoy it. Other tracks include unreleased songs and outtakes from Free. Blues guitar fans will be knocked out by the thick humbucker sound of the intro to "Come Together in the Morning" alone. You can enjoy Kossoff's characteristic soulful guitar playing throughout.
