This is a live performance at the Met Center on March 7, 1982, during the latter part of the Controversy tour, the day before First Avenue '82 (described below), and the triumphant return concert in Minneapolis that finally arrived after the tour. It was also the recording for the elusive documentary The Second Coming! While the director of this elusive film was recently interviewed, this live performance is suddenly in the spotlight! First, the complete audience recording has been remastered with the highest quality. The cheers are muted, and the backing vocals and Prince's vocals are brought to the forefront. The result is so high-quality that most listeners will think it's a soundboard! The 11-minute long funk track "Head," followed by "Dirty Mind" with synth and bass solos, the devastating Controversy, and then, not ending with "Jack Off," they play "Private Joy" at the end! The tension is different with the camera rolling!

This is the ultimate release, forcing me to retire 4Dafunk's 001 master! The definitive, complete master recording of Prince's unique First Avenue gig, live on March 8, 1982! This incredible live performance features guest appearances by Morris Day and Shue Ann Carwell, premiering "All the Critics in New York" and playing an unreleased track by The Time called "Dance to the Beat"! The painstaking work of correcting the pitch of "Still Funky" and remastering "International Love," another early CD bootleg, to add "All the Critics Loves in New York" proved futile. Moonraker's pitch-corrected and remastered 4DF001 lacked the "All the Critics Loves in New York" addition. However, this release is five minutes longer than the original, and the generation is said to be first-class! This is the true '82 Prince First Avenue!

Just when I thought there were no more live recordings of Tamer and Prince left, 4DF suddenly released a rare, small-scale concert at New York's Butter Restaurant on June 17, 2006. 4Dafunk, renowned for their remastering of the masters owned by Akashic Records, teamed up to release this stunning audience recording! Packed with the charms of Prince and Tamer, this is the perfect item to get a full picture of their live performance! It starts with a jam on "It Ain't Over," followed by a spectacular horn-driven intro to "Te Amo Corazon." It also includes an extremely rare cover of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain," and a rare mashup version of "All Eye Want Is U"/"Joy In Repetition"! The epic, long jam at the end is also amazing!

The 2009 Montreux Jazz Festival saw the release of pro shots and soundboards. At the time of release, the 4DF soundtrack sounded the best, and the long recording was mind-blowing.
