The final day of the Welcome 2 America European tour, the Zurich performance, had the strongest and best sound quality of the tour, and in a sense, this sense of realism surpassed the soundboard! If you were to say that Taper recorded the 2010 Milan performance, some might think, "Oh, that's the high quality." And it's one of the best long live performances ever! First, this final live performance begins with the grand finale of "Gold," followed by the even more profound "Purple Rain" and two epic ballads! A, A-flat, G, and F-sharp chromatic scales are played, led by Prince's guitar, to form a medley of "Let's Go Crazy." The vocals are broken down even when he sings, creating a fresh arrangement of "Little Red Corvette." A rare piano set is incorporated, and the elegant fingerwork creates a captivating performance! The audience is thrilled! "Hot Thing" is more than a sampler set; it's a super funky performance in its own right. Prince doesn't play John Blackwell's drums, Ida's bass, or keyboards; he focuses on singing, with Mr. Hayes and others providing backing. Horn-like sounds add a Shortberry Strawcake-esque quality, making it a full-on band performance. Prince also sings in full on "Sign O The Times." "If I Was Your Girlfriend" features a premiere of "One Nation Under A Groove" near the end, with Cassandra's attacking piano solo in the latter half. Cassandra's piano intro leads beautifully into The Beautiful Ones, and then on Alphabet St, Prince's driving chops gradually build the crowd up, while Ida's chopper booms add a cool touch. Then, on O'Suitzarran and Call and Response, Andy's wah-wah chops, the popping keyboard sounds, and the fuzzed bass gradually build to a climax, creating a never-ending groove that's sure to be a special moment on the final day. A rare performance of Empty Room and a final, superb funky medley of The Bird and Contorversy gems are also delivered in top-notch sound quality, making this an absolutely incredible live performance! Saying goodbye to Europe with nothing left undone, this was a flawless, super final live show!!

This special edition captures this long, incredible final day with audience footage on two DVDs. One DVD was created by filling in the missing parts with various related footage and photos. The other adds some great footage, but the missing parts are edited without blacking out. While the latter is more professionally edited, the former includes sound check footage not included on the CD, making both DVDRs excellent. Scenes include Prince's entrance with a short, soft afro perm, his mic handling during "Nothing Compares 2 U," the finishing touches of everyone's patchwork, Prince borrowing Mr. Haze's keyboard to play during "Don't Stop 'till You Get Enough," the cute boy next to Shelby, receiving a scarf from the audience during "Cool," borrowing a pink hat, and continuing to dance while wearing it. He asks with a smug look on his face at the piano set. "Empty Room" is also complete with professional shots and audience shots. The final jam, with the audience onstage, gets excited, and ends with the performance screaming "thank you" as he climbs onto the piano. Watching both videos is so good you won't even notice the time passing! The audio is also top-notch, synchronized, making the experience even more moving. This will likely be W2A's best live performance, so be sure to get your hands on this special edition.
