This release captures a live performance from February 1, 2011, at the Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, Tennessee, during the tour promoting Robin Trower's studio album *The Playful Heart* (released in late 2010). You can fully immerse yourself in the playing of Trower—famous as a follower of Jimi Hendrix—as he delivers a performance that is entirely his own: bluesy, energetic, and satisfying. Unfortunately, *The Playful Heart* was not released in Japan, making this item a great way to enjoy tracks from that album. Trower’s captivating guitar work remains as impressive as ever, and the audience is clearly enthralled by the performance. Two songs from the new album, "The Turning" and "Not Inside Outside," are featured, showcasing playing that is unmistakably Trower's style.
