This is a superb audience recording of the live performance held at JCB Hall on November 5th from Ry Cooder and Nick Lowe's 2009 Japan tour. This is their first joint tour together in 17 years since Little Village, and this stunningly high-quality recording captures the first day of their Tokyo performance in its entirety. The sound quality is simply flawless, with a superb sound balance so perfectly "miraculous" it's no exaggeration to say. The clarity of each instrument's contours and the closeness of the sound image are particularly noteworthy, resulting in an audience recording with such incredible sound quality that it's hard to believe it was recorded at all. This is sure to be the definitive edition of this tour, featuring the longest setlist of the Japan tour, including the encore finale "How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times and Live?", and the miraculously superb sound, as mentioned above!
