This album certainly aims to capture Prince's complete recordings, both on vinyl and CD. However, Fun With Vinyl is particular about sound quality. Played on a Technics SL-1200MK2 record player, and a Yamaha I recorded it onto a Sony PCM-R300 DAT tape via the RX-Z1 audio/video receiver, then played it on a Turtle Beach Catalina sound card and Cool Edit. The audio was imported to a PC using Pro software, remastered to remove clicks, and then converted into digital WAV files. The sound quality is top-notch. It's also groundbreaking in that it includes edited versions not previously included in the Anthology series, as well as B-sides that were omitted because Prince wasn't involved. It also includes tracks from artists who were connected to Prince, both before and after.
This release features tracks from Tamara & the Scene's self-titled album and 12-inch single, produced by Jesse Johnson in 1985. Shortly after Jesse Johnson left The Time, he released his first album, and then, following in Prince's footsteps, produced other artists, including Margaret Cox. This is Margie Cox, with whom Prince later formed a band called MC Flash and planned to release a solo album.
This is the title of MC Flash.

She's Pegi Ta This was her first album, released under the name Mara, as the lead singer of a five-piece mixed-gender band. At the time, Prince's style was to have female vocalists and groups like Sheila E. and the Apollonia 6 sing, while Prince himself handled the music. The same was true of André Simone's all-girl group, Girls. Like Julgle Love, Jessie was heavily involved in the songwriting of Prince's puppet band, The Time.
Everybody Dance, which echoes the vibe of Jungle Love, was a hit, reaching #24 on the pop charts. The similar "Thinking About You" also features the so-called Minneapolis sound, and is undoubtedly one of the best albums out there, even among the many imitations. She also included the instrumental "Lonely Heart," reminiscent of Parade's Alexa De Paris, on an album before Prince did. And the masterpiece is undoubtedly "Affection," its exquisite blend of pop and obsession almost miraculous.
