In 2019, to coincide with the release of the 50th anniversary edition of "Abbey Road," Mark Lewisohn, renowned for his work on The Beatles' "Complete Recording Sessions," held a live show in the UK entitled "HORNSEY ROAD." Using rare tapes, film, photographs, audio mixes, and memorabilia, the show recounts the history of The Beatles and "Abbey Road" through his own narration. The highlight of the show was the unveiling of session recordings, which were never released before. The session recordings, not even included in the official box set, were clearly from Abbey Road Studios' multitrack recordings. Even the release of just a portion of them makes this an essential event for music scholars. The actual show lasts for more than two hours, but based on a high-quality master secretly recorded under the prohibition of filming and recording, the "narration" is omitted here and only the songs are recorded as "Song Tracks". In addition, an exclusive interview broadcast on Radio Merseyside is also included as a bonus.
