A live archive collection bringing together historic live performances in audio and video. This time, "In the United States" is featured. This 2016 remaster of the September 3 Indianapolis performance, a familiar sight to fans as an SBD recording of the historic 1964 US tour, was recorded from the lowest-quality recording source of the show. Alongside the Hollywood Bowl and Philadelphia performances, this performance is considered a must-listen from that same tour. While the master recording was choppy during the second half of "Long Tall Sally," this release has been restored to the mono acetate recording of the Hollywood Bowl performance, eliminating any unnaturalness. Minor noise corrections have also been made, resulting in the best version available to date. Additionally, extras include performances from the San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Seattle shows, recorded from original AUD-REC sources. While not quite at the quality of a soundboard, the performances, buried amid the screams of the young girls, are valuable documents from the time, and the Seattle performance in particular is particularly noteworthy for its complete recording. The DVD also includes a compilation of existing footage from the Indianapolis performance, including edited versions. In addition, the precious color footage of the 1964 tour includes over two hours of footage, including different versions of performances in Chicago and Detroit. This memorial edition also features the Indianapolis performance, one of the most famous performances of the year.
