Live at Eistadion, Mannheim, Germany Sep. 3rd 1973

This recording features the Mannheim concert on September 3rd, the second day of Mick Taylor's final European tour with the Rolling Stones in 1973. It primarily uses a different audience recording than previously released versions. This rare live performance, featuring songs like "Bitch," "100 Years Ago," and "Sweet Virginia" (which were only included in the early part of the tour's setlist), is available in high fidelity! Highly recommended for Taylor fans! While the OBR label's rare release 'Mannheim On Ice' is the most representative title for this concert, this release, despite sharing the same title, uses a different audience source. If we consider the OBR source as Source A and the source used in this release as Source B, Source B has a richer bass response compared to Source A, allowing for a higher fidelity recording of this concert! Furthermore, the MC segments between songs, which were missing from the OBR release, are almost completely included, and the middle section of "Midnight Rambler," which was originally cut, has been supplemented with Source A, resulting in the longest recording to date. This is an exceptional recording, arguably the best of this live performance in terms of both sound quality and content!!! It's a must-have recording from the highly popular 1973 European tour, and a highly recommended title for those who want to fully appreciate Mick Taylor's brilliant guitar playing—including its fluidity—even though he would be leaving the band after this tour!!!
