While it's unfortunate that Mick Ralphs couldn't make it to Japan due to sudden illness, the band delivered a stunning performance that lived up to, and even exceeded, the expectations of fans who had been waiting for this day for years. While the setlist for the three-day Tokyo tour saw significant changes, this first day's performance in Tokyo was flawless, opening with the thunderous "Burnin' Sky" and featuring Paul Rodgers' mature voice in the middle with "Simple Man."
