This CD contains a recording of Gary Moore's third visit to Japan in 1985, specifically a live performance at Nagoya, Kokaido, Nagoya, Japan on October 28, 1985. Ian Paice, who served as a support drummer until 1984, left to reunite Deep Purple, and for this Japan tour, he is joined by Bob Daisley, a talented bassist who was formerly in Rainbow and also played in Ozzy Osbourne's band, though it's unclear if he can be considered part of the same "Purple family." As this is his third time in Japan, Gary himself seems to have become quite accustomed to the country, and this concert gives the impression of being very stable and relaxed. While there are many recordings from Tokyo and Osaka, this item was recorded in Nagoya, and the high sound quality is surprising. The sense of presence and clarity are very well balanced, and the recording position seems to be in the best position, with a perfect balance between the performance and the crowd.
