This is a previously unreleased stereo soundboard recording from a March 1976 performance by France's renowned progressive psychedelic rock band, Gong, at Oxford! The master recording has been remastered and released! While the exact date remains unclear due to confidentiality issues, this recording appears to be from a very early stage of the UK Shamal tour. This recording dates from a time when the band had regrouped around percussionist Pierre Moulin and was beginning to incorporate more jazz-rock elements, resulting in a truly tight performance!
