Guns N' Roses' early demo track collection, famously known as "Rumbo Tapes," is now available in a newly remastered version with meticulous noise reduction and sound quality adjustments. While it's a studio recording, the sound quality is somewhat cheaper and has a narrower dynamic range compared to the official releases, but that's precisely what gives it its demo-like feel and unique atmosphere. Above all, this release features many tracks with noticeable differences in arrangement and previously unreleased material, such as "The Garden" where Axl himself sings the part originally sung by Alice Cooper on the official release, a simply arranged "Don't Cry," "Sentimental Movie" with Duff's vocals, "Bad Obsession" with Izzy's vocals, and "Crash Diet" with lead guitar by the unsung hero West Arkeen. For fans who haven't yet heard these recordings, this is a must-listen and highly interesting title.
