The 2013 Tokyo concert, where all eight studio albums since "Autobahn" were "perfectly" reproduced, one after the other, drove fans wild. The eighth and final day of the eight-night tour at Akasaka Blitz, the "Tour de France" concert on May 16th, was recreated. This exceptionally high-quality audience recording, comparable to a soundboard recording, captures the entire performance, from the opening surround sound introduction to the final show. This title boasts astonishing sound quality, with 24-bit digital remastering applied to the original high-quality master from the XAVEL label.
Following the familiar robot voice intro, the band kicked off with "Tour De France 1983," followed by a succession of tracks from the 2003 "Tour de France" album, followed by a balanced rendition of classic tracks from each era, from "Autobahn" to "Techno Pop." As this was the final day of the eight Tokyo shows, an unusual encore of "Pocket Calculator" and "Expo 2000/Planet Of Visions" was included after "Boing Boom Tschak" and "Musique Non Stop." Fresh rhythm arrangements utilizing the latest electronic equipment, the "pop-out" 3D images that are the biggest attraction of this tour, and the surround sound that has been meticulously crafted to match the images - this is a commemorative item with perfect sound quality that brings back all of the experiences you had at the venue.
