This live performance in Houston on September 23, 1986, is recorded with a superb soundboard quality, remastered by the Hannibal label.
This previously unreleased live recording was recorded the same year as the live album "Last Nite." This was a period when Carlton had switched from Warner to MCA and was embracing an acoustic sound. The setlist makes it clear that this is a passionate performance that could be described as the "culmination of fusion Carlton"! This performance, at the height of their power, perfectly blends explosive energy and maturity, and deserves to be considered one of their best.
The sound image is a little unstable at the beginning of "NITE CRAWLER," but after that, you can enjoy the stunning sound quality that only Hannibal can offer.
