This two-disc set features the complete live performance at New York's St. James Theatre on March 23rd, recorded in official, premium stereo soundboard quality from the tour supporting the solitary artist Lou Reed's 15th solo album, "New York," released in 1989. This highly acclaimed album is considered the best of his solo career.
The first half of the concert features eight tracks from the album, including standouts like "Busload of Faith," "Halloween Parade," and "Dirty Blvd."
The second half features seven tracks, including the Velvet Underground's "Rock and Roll" and "Sweet Jane," as well as "Walk on the Wild Side" from the 1972 classic "Transformers."
