This Miles Davis item comes from Stargazers, a label currently attracting attention as the pinnacle of Miles Davis collector's labels, and which also supports the creation of bonus discs for Voodoo Down.

This is a live recording from 1988, featuring a strong emphasis on synthesizers and an unusual lineup with lead bass instead of guitar. While the original recording is famous as a broadcast master from an FM radio broadcast, this version uses a newly pitch-corrected master. Furthermore, the label's unique equalization has been applied to improve the somewhat muffled low frequencies. This version also completely removes the radio DJ's commentary, allowing you to enjoy only the pure live performance. Originally, an interview with Miles was included before "Don't Stop Me Now," but because the interview is valuable, it was re-recorded as a bonus track after the live performance. This interview also faded out, and the DJ's talk overlapped, so that part has been cut. Enjoy this latest 2022 version, where the concert itself is not interrupted thanks to skillful editing.
