This is a live recording by Pat Metheny's Unity Band. Recorded with an audience, it had a strong mid-range reverberation and a thick waistband, but remastering has tightened it up to create a much tighter, more listenable recording. Despite the boost, the bass is a bit quiet and the occasional chatter from the surrounding audience is a bit audible, but this recording is still quite good. The Unity Band is a popular unit among fans, featuring Metheny's solos, orchestrion tracks, and, most importantly, Chris Potter.
