This recording features the scathing guitar intro, the funk of "I Believe In You," the punkish and rockish "Endorphinemachine," a youthful, ferocious version of "Days Of Wild," the lyrics of "I Hate U" and a spectacular guitar solo in "Dark," and an early version of "Glam Slam Boogie" that was still in the trial and error stage. Prince formed the jazz band Madhouse with Eric Leeds and others. He created a studio album and performed many experimental jazz shows. The result is this secret live performance from December 5th, 1987, at the Fine Line Cafe in Minneapolis! 4Dafunk has successfully brought it back to life with ultimate remastering! The sound quality has been greatly improved! This jazzy, funky, Prince-esque performance would have even made Miles Davis swoon! Freddie Freeloader's funk is incredible! As a bonus, the recording of the opening act for Madhouse, recorded in Zurich on June 21st, 1987, has been remastered to the ultimate level!
