Following the releases of Determination and Reincarnation in 2015, Prince presents his latest collection of outtakes in the fall of 2016! This includes the complete debut of Rough, an early funk track recorded with Alexander O'Neal! Originally offered to Joyce Kennedy of Mothers' Finest but rejected, this track possesses a truly cool funk quality. "Possesive" is an instrumental track with a similar sound, while "Turn It Up" features Prince singing with a live feel, "Velvet Kitty Cat" is an outtake of The Time's "Ice Cream Castle" that finally appears as a complete track, "You're In My System" (84 Grooves) is a great way to enjoy Minneapolis funk, "9 To 5 People" is a masterpiece that clearly shows Prince's genius, "Come Elektra Tuesday" has a playful P-Funk-like sound, "Eggplant" is likely to reign as a masterpiece of the late Revolutionary pop, with Wendy's vocals cute, and the horns come to the fore in the second half to create an elegant funk reminiscent of "Love Or Money", "Most Strongest Whiskey" is a bluesy cover of Denise LaSalle's "Most Strongest Whiskey", and "Roadhouse Garden" is a masterpiece with Prince's vocals that has finally been unearthed, and a completely newly discovered version sung by Prince! The Glamorous Life, which will leave you in awe of how Prince sang it, Pain (1990), a version of Chaka Khan's "Pain" originally written for Rosie Gain, sung by Prince! The long 11:20-minute "Come" (Straight Remix) is the most "Come"-esque of the albums, "Sleep Around" features never-before-heard vocal work by Prince, and Ingrid Chavez's legendary album "Spirit Child" expands on Ingrid's worldview, which appears at the beginning of "Lovesexy," exuding a Prince vibe that's a must-listen. Enjoy the latest Prince sound unleashed from the vault, including "It," sung by Susanna, the woman Prince loved most, accompanied by Wendy and Lisa, and the mysterious "Drum Machine."

Prince's final band rehearsal recordings have arrived. The genius bassist Mono Neon apparently recorded sessions with Prince, and then compiled them into this blistering three-disc set! While seemingly live recordings, the sound quality is on par with soundboard quality. The band members practiced tracks from Prince's final two albums, Hit N Run, and even the album version of "Stare" was reworked to its most funky heights. The live version of "Ruff Enuff" is also a supreme performance, with a more groove-driven approach than the studio version. Other tracks, such as "Thank You" and "Girls & Boys," offer a unique twist on the band's previous releases. These recordings demonstrate how Prince always generously showcased the latest in his music at Paisley Park. Had this lineup toured together, we would have heard a performance that truly explored Blackness.
