Prince / Noon Rendezvous Special Set (1CDR+1DVDR)

This is a rare, single-camera rehearsal footage of the band preparing for their birthday concert at First Avenue on June 7, 1984. While several DVDs have been released, the quality has never been commendable. This release features a younger generation, improved video quality, and enhanced background sound, coupled with a DVDR of the so-called Habibi Master. While there are still some issues, such as a few dropouts and noticeable noise, particularly on "Something in the Water," this Habibi Master offers the clearest video and sound to date, making it a title that can definitely be called an upgrade. While studio recordings of "Our Desitiny" and "Roadhouse Garden" have recently surfaced, these songs have always been available only at the First Avenue concert on June 7, 1984, or at this rehearsal. Other rare tracks featured here include those from tours after "All Day All Night," "17 Days," and "Free." Prince is there, checking his dance moves, tuning his instrument, and striving to push the envelope even further.
