The 15th was another heated performance. The Beautiful Ones, led by Renato's enchanting keyboards, kicked off. This version is worthy of a majestic opening. The emotional vocals and scorching guitar solos of Nothing Compares 2 U are also truly moving. The classic "Insatiable" (a must-have) and the jazzy "Sign O The Times" are surprisingly well-rounded. The aggressive arrangement of "Pass the Peas" sounds completely different. The "The Question of U" begins with a sudden guitar bang, and this song, interspersed with a slow new track, "Twins in My Bed," is a fantastic performance. Let's Work starts again, and the funky performance of "U Got the Look" sung by Camille's MC is also superb. After a lengthy rendition of JB's Hot Pants-esque "Life O the Party," Maceo and the other horns suddenly become more energetic. The horn arrangements of "Uptown Up" and "Soul Man" are incredibly funky. It's thanks to them that the album always sounds fresh. Chance Howard also delivers a soulful vocal performance. Kiss is also soul-show-ready, seamlessly integrated into the natural flow of the performance. The crowd sings along to "Take Me With U," a charming track, while "The Everlasting Now" is more energetic than any version performed on the ONA tour! Larry Graham's bass rages in the second half, starting with a cool jam with a lively Latin beat and then "I Wanna Take You Higher." Prince's guitar cuttings stomp Larry to his limits. Before you know it, the heavy groove of "Days of Wild" unfolds, unfolding into a heavy-duty funk that pushes forward like a tank! Larry's heavy bass continues with "America"! The horns attack with a unique riff, creating a funk arrangement. Chance Howard smoothly takes over the vocals, getting the crowd excited with "House Party." Finally, the loosely arranged "No Diggity" is so cool it's practically a no-brainer. These two performances are like a treasure trove of sounds, with more to discover the more you listen.
