Prince performed at First Avenue before his Boston concert. While it was released on 4Dafunk, there was actually some previously unreleased material. That's this rehearsal recording. While the sound quality isn't particularly high-quality, it's worth listening to for its funky jam, "Stroke," which wasn't performed on either Hit and Run or the Parade tour. The latter half of the album also features another jam with interesting phrases, making the rehearsal feel like a different gig. This recording also offers a glimpse into the refinements made during the Boston performance that followed.

Disc 2 is treated as a bonus CDR. This recording depicts a rehearsal held between March and April 1986, although the exact date and location are unknown. We obtained the master recording of the extremely rare "Sometimes It Snows In April" from Rocks, a label that released several Prince bootlegs in the early '90s, and released it directly on CDR. Although the sound quality is not particularly praiseworthy, and the original pitch has not been corrected or remastered, we have deliberately recorded a digital copy as is. The songs have a Hit And Run-like arrangement, and the set list includes an excellent version of the final track, Mountains, a 13-minute jam with a lively, uninterrupted bass line - a super long dub version!
