The Welcome 2 Canada tour still lacks a satisfactory recording. This DVDR features super-audience shots taken with a fantastic camera from the first and second days, featuring many rare tracks from the tour. While the first day's performance isn't complete, the rare rendition of "A Million Days" is a fantastic arrangement, featuring earnest singing with the chorus and stunning guitar playing! Then, for the first time in a while, Andy Arrow appears on Let's Go, and then, astonishingly, there's a bluesy version of Sometimes It Snows In April, sung while Prince performs a mysterious instrumental on Madcat! There's the jazzy Adore with Maceo Parker! And on the second day, this one is complete with both video and sound! There's the perfect opening "Gold," the majestic Purple Rain, a rare version mixing Shhh with U Will Be With Me, a mashup of Andy and Prince's fusion of Crimson & Clover and Waiting In Vain, and a mashup of Get Down Tonight and Sexy Dancer, which appeared on Welcome 2 Canada! It's no exaggeration to say that this item embodies all of the charm of Welcome 2 Canada.
