After suspending activities following the passing of Neil Peart, Rush made a surprise comeback this year, welcoming new drummer Anika Nilles! This release features complete, multi-camera angle footage of the first two shows of their comeback tour—marking their return after 11 years—held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on June 7 and 9. Both shows feature unique multi-angle editing and utilize previously released high-quality audio sources, resulting in a production that rivals professional filming. These are the definitive video releases for these opening shows, which featured different setlists. While a tour in Japan seems unlikely, it is truly amazing to live in an era where we can enjoy such high-quality footage of the first two shows of this long-awaited comeback tour so soon after the events took place.
