This is a live recording of Sandy Denny, one of the most popular singers in Fairport Convention's history. While there is some hiss, it's a well-balanced audience recording. Despite her turbulent marriage to Trevor Lucas and the physical and mental breakdown of her later years, this is a wonderful piano-based live performance. It leans more towards British folk than traditional music, clearly showcasing her highly acclaimed talent as a folk singer. As mentioned, her husband Lucas and other Fairport members at the time, such as Dave Mattacks, also participate. This is a precious live recording, as Sandy tragically passed away the following year in an accident.
