This special collector's edition of The Beatles' 1960s American compilation album, "Yesterday and Today," includes all tracks on video and audio, including the original stereo and mono versions, as well as new alternate mixes, rare mixes, outtakes, and session recordings. It's now available on a special collector's edition DAP, featuring perfect reproductions of all four album covers, from the heralded butcher cover to the legendary purple trunk cover!

"Yesterday and Today" is one of the most highly anticipated and unique albums released by Capitol Records in the U.S., featuring a unique editing style distinct from the 1960s British releases. Not only did it spark controversy immediately after its release when the shocking "butcher cover" was changed, but the numerous mix variations required to include new tracks from "Revolver" before the album was released in the UK made it a fascinating collector's item not to be missed.

[Collector's Point]
The DVD includes a video album featuring the entire album, as well as an audio album with selectable audio comparisons. The video album section visualizes the entire album using promotional footage, TV shows, and rock band footage. The audio album section features three versions: the early '60s stereo version, which includes some "pseudo-stereo" audio switching; the '70s stereo version, which was changed to "real stereo"; and the original mono version. The video is presented in slideshow format (still images) and includes various photo sessions, including footage from the filming of the controversial "butcher cover."
