The Neville Brothers made their long-awaited return to Japan after approximately 12 years. The band suffered a major blow from Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and had been inactive for some time, but they finally made their comeback for this visit. The Neville Brothers, who could be called the hope of New Orleans, truly made their comeback by performing at this festival. On May 4, 2008, the Neville Brothers finally appeared as the headliner, and New Orleans was enveloped in heat, excitement, and emotion.
