This release features a newly unearthed, remarkably high-quality master recording from June 10, 1988—a memorable date during the early days of Bob Dylan's ongoing "Never Ending Tour"—where Neil Young appeared as a special guest. While this show has been released previously, this edition utilizes a different source recording that has been newly mastered. The sound quality is so superb that, were it not for the audible proximity of the audience's cheers, one might easily mistake it for a soundboard recording; listeners can fully enjoy the tight sound of the 1988 Dylan band led by G.E. Smith. Neil Young also joins the electric set, delivering a passionate performance! The sound quality is crystal clear, allowing you to fully appreciate the nuances of Neil Young’s distinctive guitar playing—a style quite different from that of G.E. Smith. During the chorus of "Like a Rolling Stone," you can even hear Neil Young’s backing vocals, vividly conjuring up the image of him shouting into the same microphone as Bob!
