The Vote For Change tour kicked off in Philadelphia in October 2004, just before the presidential election. It was still fresh in our memory, traveling to swing states across the country to encourage people to vote for Democratic candidate John Kerry. Springsteen and many other musicians gathered there to support him. The Boss shared the stage with REM and declared, "A vote for Bush is like shitting in your own bed." Springsteen and REM are set to perform in St. Paul on October 5th! Because of its purpose, the album is politically charged and features the kind of spirit you'd expect from a street-level boss. The highlight of the album is the performances featuring Neil Young and John Fogerty. Bonus footage from various locations adds to the wonderful finish. It includes a menu screen and chapters, and can be viewed on a standard Japanese deck.
