This is a compilation of soundboard live recordings from the Derek Trucks Band, the predecessor band to the Tedeski Trucks Band. The sound quality is, of course, superb. Because the Tedeski Trucks Band is heavily influenced by vocalist Susan, many fans likely prefer the Derek Trucks Band. In 2019, around the same time as the news of the Tedeski Trucks Band's upcoming Japan tour, came the sad news of Coffey Burbridge's passing. He was an indispensable part of Derek Trucks' live performances, making his death truly regrettable. All we can do is cherish the recordings that remain.
