This is the familiar Mike Millard tape, but for those unfamiliar with it, it's a recording tape by Mike Millard, a legendary taper active in the 70s and considered a god of audience recordings. While various Mike Millard tapes of different musicians have been released in the past, in recent years, digital versions from the original masters and digital versions from low-generation tapes very close to the original masters have become available. This item is a remastered version based on those digital masters. Even though it's a remaster, the original sound quality is already quite high, so not much unnecessary equalization has been done. For this Elton John Forum performance, the mid-range was a bit strong and the venue's reverberation was noticeable, so only that aspect has been slightly reduced. Also, extreme cheers from nearby audience members between songs have been edited out. Rather than being aimed at hardcore collectors, this is the perfect entry point for fans who want to try out audience recordings.
