This is a line recording of Eric Clapton's live performance on July 21st, 1974, at Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA, USA, the third of three shows on his 1974 US tour in California. This was a promotional tour for Eric's early masterpiece, "461 Ocean Boulevard," and was so well-produced that it led to the creation of the live album "EC WAS HERE." It features raw energy and improvisation that can only be heard at this time, and Eric himself was only 28 years old, so his energy and intensity in the live performances are top-notch. Each of the three shows featured some set changes and altered arrangements of the same songs, making for a wealth of listening opportunities. The sound quality is excellent, with careful noise reduction and tone balance adjustments performed during the SBD recording, resulting in a high-quality and stable listening experience.
