This recording captures Jeff Beck's 2015 US tour opening night on April 13th at the Capitol Theater in Portchester, NY, USA. This is Jeff's latest tour, following his memorable 2014 Japan performance. A live album featuring the best takes from the 2014 tour and new songs will be released in May, and this recording includes "My Tiled White Floor," a song that will be featured on the May album, perhaps with the release in mind. The rest of the setlist follows the flow from last year's tour, but the live performance is superb, incredibly high-energy, and, as it's the opening night, the other members are in top physical and mental condition, resulting in a highly polished and enjoyable live show. Although it's an audience recording, the sound quality is excellent, without excessive tone control, maintaining a stable sense of presence and clarity throughout.
