This recording features Jimi Hendrix's 1970 final tour performances, specifically the September 1st show at Stora Scenen, Liseberg, Gothenburg, Sweden. This was the final show of his European leg of the tour, which began on August 30th, and the last of his two shows in Sweden. While the 1970 tour featured relatively compact sets, Hendrix changed the setlist almost daily, delivering captivating concerts. Only four shows remained before the September 18th countdown. The bonus track includes five tracks from a 1970 studio jam, recorded in Soundboard format. The sound quality is excellent, as it's an audio recording made from the master source. The original tapenoise has been repaired and restored as much as possible, virtually eliminating any noise, and the overall tone balance is perfect, allowing you to enjoy stable, high-quality sound.
