Here is a recording from the Whisky a Go Go featuring the Heartbreakers, led by the legendary "junk rocker" Johnny Thunders.
Walter Lure—the last surviving original member of the Heartbreakers—passed away on August 22, 2020. This recording captures the band at a moment of incredible intensity, just prior to the release of Thunders' solo album, *So Alone*.
"Seven Day Weekend," a song they had been performing since the New York Dolls era, is a must-listen for rock fans. The guitar solo on "All By Myself" is particularly recommended.
