This disc features a much more obscure Madrid performance than the ACT 2 tour, with NPG as the opening act! We obtained the master tapes and then remastered them! The result is the best item from this tour! The opening act's powerful performance includes tunes from the legendary album Gold Nigga, and extremely rare covers. Then there's Prince's main show, which begins with My Name Is Prince, featuring arrangements unique to this period, and then the encore in the second half! The February 21, 1987 rehearsal is recorded with quality surpassing the official release! The Ballad of Dorothy Parker, performed only once on tour, is packed with ideas from the pre-tour rehearsal, and it's a shame it was limited to Europe! The November 1987 rehearsal also features improved sound quality! This is the dream setlist of what SOT might have sounded like if they'd toured the US. The tour features the opening tracks from the Lovesexy tour, Erotic City, Deliours, and Jack U Off, as well as unreleased tracks like What's Your Name, Love Or $, and Data Bank, all in top-quality sound. There's also a rehearsal of the funky Kid Creole track Sex Of It, with Prince on vocals, and Baby A Go Go, a song written for Nona Hendrix!

This is a sequel to the Sign O' The Times rehearsals, with dramatically improved sound quality! The audio distortion, pitch correction, and other flaws from Sabotage have been thoroughly addressed, and the April 2nd release in particular delivers such astounding sound quality that it feels like a new master release! The April Birmingham release also boasts a two-level improvement in sound quality over Sabotage, and includes the rare performance of La La La He He Hee! It's impressive to see how much they practiced this track, even though it wasn't even performed once during the SOTT tour!
