This is arguably the best release from the One Night Alone tour. This release features the Antwerp, Belgium, performance on October 18, 2002, carefully selected from multiple masters with various issues, and after careful consideration of new masters, has been remastered to perfection! Prince and his band showed great cohesiveness during their European performances, and this live performance has become legendary among European fans as the best of the tour, so there's no doubt about the content! Prince's beatboxing explodes during the 10-minute, super-funky "Xenophobia" and the intimidatingly heavyweight "Days Of Wild," which includes "America"!

4Dafunk's later release, 4DF 088's From The Soundboard - 1984 Birthday Show, is a must-have soundboard recording of First Avenue's 26th birthday gig in 1984. However, 4Dafunk had actually released an audience recording prior to that. Previous audience recordings were remastered to the point that they truly sounded like soundboard recordings, and the sound quality was so high that it was said that remastering at this level would never be possible again. The sense of presence is unlike anything you'd get from a soundboard. Don't underestimate the opportunity to discover Prince and the Revolution's best live performances. In some ways, the sound on Disc 2 is the ultimate pinnacle, featuring rehearsals from May and June 1984. Hear rare rehearsals of songs from the 1984 birthday concert, including "17 Days," "When We're Dancing Close and Slow," "Erotic City," "Irresistible Bitch," and "Possessed."

No other recording has been mastered or remastered to this degree. Whether you know this or not is a major dividing line for Prince fans. The video "The Beautiful Experience," which was once sold in limited quantities in NPG shops, also has broadcast footage. This recording, a soundboard live performance at Paisley Park on February 13, 1994, only available on audio, has been remastered to achieve the best sound possible. The original Radio Veronica recording is included. The world premiere of "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" is overlaid with the studio version of the single, and Mr. Hayes' previously unreleased solo from "The Jam" is intercut with audio ripped from the video. Other tracks include the rare cover "What'd I Say," the unreleased track "Peak The Technique," a P-funk Prince rendition of "Martial Law," and the closing jam "None Of Your Business." The second disc also features broadcast footage of "The Beautiful Experience," original First Generation video, and a DVDR master, all mastered with a focus on sound quality.

4Dafunk released a still-impactful soundboard recording titled From the Soundboard for his birthday in 1984. This recording is from his birthday the following year, in 1985. Unfortunately, it's not a soundboard recording, but it will be released from a different master than the previous one. 4Dafunk had already released a recording titled 27. While this one has some wobble at the beginning, the instrument sounds crisper, and the hiss has been reduced through remastering, making it an ultimate audience recording that's as close to superb as you can get. Prince does amazing things on his birthday, and this concert cemented that impression with a parade of new songs, an appearance by Sheila E., and the never-before-heard arrangements of Drawers Burnin', Mutiny, and Holly Rock, played in incredible extended versions.

Prince's birthday concert, always a special performance. Later, due to religious reasons, he stopped performing on his birthday, but this 1995 birthday concert was effectively his last. This recording was released on Moonraker's now-out-of-print Return of the Bumpsquad. However, the second half of the concert was completely missing, making it an incomplete recording. This time, 4Dafunk obtained the master of the superb audience recording, and the soundboard portion was matrixed with the audience master to create a deeper, more immersive sound quality. The second half of "7," "Get Wild," "Johnny," "Interlude," "Billy Jack Bitch," and "Gold" are complemented by the excellent audience master.
