A remastered edition of the best items from the legendary Gold Experience tour is now available! Prince, who now passes Japan by, gave an incredible live performance back then. Moonraker and the suddenly emerging Sabotage label, specializing in Prince bootlegs, competed fiercely to release the Japan tour, but the best item, titled Japan, Tokyo, Budokan, was considered the best in terms of both sound quality and content. As it was a limited release, it's now out of print, but we've acquired the master DAT and remastered it to make it available on CDR! January 16th saw the sudden debut of Jeffrey Osborne's cover of "One Of Us," later included on Emancipation. There were also rare performances by Johnny and Glam Slam Boogie. The Purple Medley, incorporated from the Osaka performance on the 11th, was also played here, and Vicky Wating, the highlight of the Japan tour, naturally delivered a fantastic version. This item also pays attention to bonuses, including full versions of "Love...They Will Be Done" and "Eye Hate U," which replace "We March" and "One Of Us" on January 9th, and rare highlights like "Funky Stuff" and "Mary Don't You Weep" on January 17th.
