PRINCE / TV Appearances Vol.0-2 Special Set (1DVDR X 3)

Vol. 0 features the famous The Ryde Dyvine, but in fact, a Prince special aired the night before it aired on December 19, 1992. This recording also captures the show in its original format, providing a more complete look at the original broadcast. Also included are Soul Train and other '94 performances, as well as TV shots from the Act II tour.

Vol. 1 is a compilation focusing on the Arsenio Hall Show. While there is rehearsal footage from '93, this series' focus is on providing a complete TV broadcast, so it's not included. The highlight of this collection is, in a sense, the recording of The Prince of Paisley Park. While it's a documentary, it contains much of the rare footage you won't find anywhere else. It's impressive how even these lesser-known clips are subtly included.

Vol. 2 includes detailed footage from television broadcasts from '94 to '96, with the exception of Prince's earliest television broadcasts, his '80 American Bandstand and Love 4 One Another live performances. The special also includes promo clips from the VH-1 Video Break broadcast on the same day, including the 1994 classic Dolphin and a house mix of P Control featuring a cute, red-clad prince (you weren't allowed to call him Prince back then) dancing with Mayte.
