This release features a soundboard recording of the live performance at the Cotati Cabaret in Cotati, California, USA, on March 23, 1987, during Ry Cooder's US tour. This is a superb concert recording that captures a high-energy performance from the tour promoting the 1987 album *Get Rhythm*, featuring a rock-solid backing band. It includes four bonus tracks—the best takes from the 1988 Japan tour—sourced from soundboard (SBD) recordings. The sound quality is consistently excellent thanks to the SBD source, while the encore section is captured from an outstanding audience (AUD) recording.
