This is a 1991 recording of Santana from the Legendary Mike Millard Tapes series. The sound quality is excellent, and almost no equalization was needed. Disc 1 is almost non-stop, and the entire 3-disc set is packed with content. John Lee Hooker also makes a guest appearance. This is a must-listen album featuring a string of great performances, including "Black Magic Woman," "Europa," and "Jingo."

***** Mike Millard Tape Series *****
In recent years, the "Mike Millard Tapes" have been increasingly digitized from direct masters or low-generation tapes. These tapes were recorded by Mike Millard, a taper familiar to fans for his exceptional audience recording skills. The same label has released several recordings based on these newly digitized Mike Millard Tapes, in two patterns: "Brushed Mike Millard Tapes" and "Legendary Mike Millard Tapes." Not all Mike Millard Tapes have perfect sound quality; some have considerable room for improvement, and those that have been significantly edited and improved are in the "Brushed" series. Those that were originally close to perfect and had little room for improvement, with only minor editing such as light cuts between tracks, are in the "Legendary" series.
