A DVD featuring three concerts from the 70s-90s, centered around "Rock In Rio '91," has been digitally remastered from excellent pro-shot masters, totaling two hours of footage. The 1991 Rock In Rio performance includes not only the familiar Santana band's passionate performance, but also rare guest appearances by Pat Metheny, Gilberto Gil, and Djavan. While the quality isn't exactly top-notch, the stable video with no major glitches throughout and the powerful, digitally remastered audio are more than enough to satisfy. The additional footage of the 1982 Dominican Republic performance in the rain, and the 1970 Tanglewood concert showcasing his youthful guitar playing, are both of sufficient quality considering the era.
