This is a reissue of a rare title from a handmade label by collectors for collectors, which was distributed only in very limited quantities. While copies circulate quickly these days, this item is an officially licensed reissue from a formally acquired master.

The band was once described as the melting pot of American music, but perhaps the band that most deserves that description today is the Tedeskie Trucks Band. Their jam sessions are underpinned by covers from a wide range of genres such as jazz, soul, and country, respect for these roots music genres, and high-level musicianship. This is a live recording from the time when Kofi Burbridge, a close friend from the Derek Trucks Band era who sadly passed away in 2019, was a member. It's a live recording from their final years, with J.J. Johnson, an original member, still on one of the twin drums.
