-Recorded Live at Open Air Festival, Knebworth,UK 21st August 1976-
This definitive item features the longest and highest quality recording of the Knebworth Festival performance on August 21st, following the end of their 1976 Euro tour, utilizing multiple existing audio sources! This performance, a rare one-off live show with a unique setlist, has been released in various forms in the past. There are two types of soundboard recordings alone: a famous stereo recording from the analog era and a mono recording from a video allegedly leaked by the BBC. Therefore, this title primarily uses these two soundboard recordings, and further supplements missing songs and sections from the soundboard recordings with two audience recordings, resulting in a high-quality, completely uncut version. Furthermore, the editing is incredibly meticulous, with as much supplementation as possible, including MCs between songs. In particular, the vulgar language in "You Gotta Move," which is overlaid with a buzzer sound in the soundboard recording, has been perfectly corrected using the audience recording—a testament to the attention to detail. The setlist, while similar to that of their Euro tour that year, is full of highlights, including the punk-influenced "Satisfaction," "Let's Spend The Night Together," and R&B covers of "Around And Around," "Little Red Rooster," and "Route 66," which were played before their El Mocambo performance the following year in '77. Experience the Knebworth summer festival of 1976 in its finest form!
