This is a high-quality audience recording of the first Tokyo performance from ASIA's 2010 Japan tour, held in support of their latest album, "OMEGA."

This was their third visit to Japan since their 2006 reunion with the four original members. The performance was a very "ASIA-esque" and intense stage show, skillfully blending new songs from the highly acclaimed "OMEGA" with their classic hits. In particular, "Go," from their 3rd album "ASTRA," placed as the first song of the encore, is arguably the highlight of the tour, especially for the opportunity to enjoy the masterful guitar playing of Steve Howe.

This first Tokyo performance, which also marked the opening of the Japan tour, had a less balanced sound compared to the following day's show at the same venue. However, John Wetton's powerful vocals, showing no signs of age-related decline, and the entire band delivered a professional performance.

This title, digitally remastered from the high-quality audience master originally released by the Wildlife label, doesn't quite reach the level of the simultaneously released Tokyo second-day and Yokohama performances, but it still boasts more than sufficient high sound quality for an audience recording. It's a must-have for anyone wanting to capture this memorable first day of the tour.
