A complete recording of Earl Klugh's June 25, 2008 Tokyo performance, captured in superb sound quality audience recording.

Earl Klugh, who recently released "The Spice Of Life," his first studio album with a band in nine years since "Peculiar Situation," delivered a truly impressive performance at this live show, showcasing his latest masterpiece. The setlist was incredibly fulfilling, packed with new songs like "Driftin'" and "Sleepyhead," the classic collaboration with Bob James "Kari," the superb "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" featuring Lenny Price's lustrous saxophone, and the exhilarating "Dr. Macumba," which brought the audience to its peak.

For fans, 75 minutes of pure bliss, allowing them to fully enjoy Earl Klugh's gut-string guitar sound—which has reached almost godlike levels—in the finest sound quality, was an irreplaceable moment of pure joy! Another highlight of this performance was the band members' relaxed and uninhibited playing, given considerable freedom. Lenny Price impressed even seasoned musicians with his alto and soprano saxophone performances, and Ron Otis, who also delivered superb drumming at Cheryl Lynn's Japan tour, put in a tremendous effort, further enhancing the value of this concert.
