This recording captures Eric Clapton's live performance at Kyoto Kaikan Daiichi Hall, Kyoto, Japan, on November 26, 1979, during his fourth tour of Japan. At just 29 years old, Eric delivered a powerful performance, full of improvisation and a raw energy that can only be heard at this time. The bonus track features seven best takes from the November 23rd performance in Ibaraki, the first day of his 1979 Japan tour. While it's an audience recording, the sound quality is excellent, even considering the era. It offers a clear and immersive listening experience throughout.
