The Necromancer series reissues rare titles from a handmade label by collectors for collectors, which was distributed only in very limited quantities, using officially acquired, legitimate masters. Introducing the "Locked Room" label, specializing in rock and pop music.

This is a heavyweight item containing complete recordings of both the first and second shows of Frank Zappa's 1976 Halloween live performance. Zappa greets the audience with "Happy Halloween!" throughout his speeches. Despite being an audience recording, it's a superb recording where you can clearly hear the separation of the instruments. While the basic setlist didn't change drastically for either the first or second set, the encores were different for each. In particular, the second set, which served as the final encore, saw a thrilling transition from "CAMARILLO BRILLO" to "MUFFIN MAN," with Zappa incorporating Helloween's speech into his somewhat blunt vocals directed at Ray White, and a spectacular explosion of Zappa's guitar. As always, the lineup included incredibly talented musicians such as Terry Bozzio and Eddie Jobson.
