This recording captures Hollywood Vampire's 2019 American tour performance at the Fillmore Auditorium, Denver, CO on May 14th. The tour, which also served as promotion for their new album "rise" (released in June), began on May 10th, and this recording is from the fourth show. With their first studio album in four years since their 2015 debut album, the band members' high level of motivation on stage is directly conveyed. Johnny Depp himself initially didn't have many opportunities to sing solo due to stage nervousness, but he seems to have gained a lot of confidence as a musician, as he takes on lead vocals on two songs, making for a very enjoyable band performance. Six songs from his new album "rise" are performed, along with other familiar numbers, allowing you to enjoy a fantastic rock show. The sound quality is excellent, as it's an audience recording using a very high-quality source, and you can enjoy stable, high-quality sound with no issues of clarity or presence.
